Paracel promotes dialogue with communities through meetings with local leaders

In line with its commitment to sustainability and building transparent relationships with communities in its area of influence, Paracel held three informational meetings with leaders from the industrial component, forest component and indigenous communities.

The main objective of these meetings was to strengthen communication channels, share advances in social investment and sustainability; plans for 2025; the current state of Paracel's operations; in addition to listening to the concerns and contributions of the participants.

The meetings were led by Paracel's Communication and Social Sustainability area, on June 10 with the industrial component, and on June 12 with the forestry component and indigenous communities. Paracel currently works with 46 communities.

Advances were also shared in forest certification and carbon credit processes, reminding those present of the channels enabled for inquiries, complaints and suggestions, including the contacts of the community representatives assigned to each component.

These meetings are part of the company's objective to promote sustainable and inclusive development, based on respect, active participation and working together with communities.
