Preguntas frecuentes
Paracel is developing an internship and training program, which will provide opportunities for all people who wish to enter a new field. This program will be launched gradually starting in the last half of 2023.
Paracel, in the framework of compliance with both national and international labor standards and because of its social commitment, will not employ minors in any of the stages of the project.
The searches are published on the Paracel website and are shared through the company's official social networks. The selection process consists of the following steps:
Step 1: The Human Talent Selection area performs the first filter by reviewing the profiles.
Step 2: The Selection team conducts telephone interviews to learn about the shortlisted profiles.
Step 3: The shortlisted profiles move on to the next instance, which is a virtual or face-to-face interview with the Human Talent Selection area.
Step 4: The people who are in the final list go on to a next interview that is carried out together with the head of the requesting area and the Human Talent area.
Step 5: Job references are verified and finally the proposal is made, by means of a job offer letter, to the selected person.
Paracel developed a Mobility Policy, which contemplates the actions to be followed in order to accompany the migration processes of people to Concepción.
Paracel has a policy, which recognizes that human rights are inherent, inalienable, universal, indivisible and interdependent: Inherent, because they belong to all people. Inalienable, because people cannot renounce them or be stripped of them by governments or any other institution.Universal, because they are applicable to all people regardless of their condition.Indivisible, since none of human rights can be selectively ignored.Interdependent, because the fulfillment of a right contributes to the fulfilment of other rights.
Paracel will create 4,000 direct jobs. The company is also expected to create 36,000 indirect jobs in the region, thus generating a total of 40,000 jobs. Approximately 8,000 people will work, at maximum peak, in the construction phase of the industrial plant. To ensure that people have optimal living conditions, during the construction phase, Paracel will build temporary housing, in accordance with the criteria defined in Sustainable Development Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
We have a Recruiting and Selection Policy whose objective is to ensure a work environment free from discrimination and abusive practices, such as harassment, sexual harassment of any kind, harassment based on race, religion, age, nationality, ethnic or social origin, sexual orientation, gender, marital status, pregnancy, disability or political affiliation, seeking to attract and retain professionals with the profile and competencies aligned with the company's strategic needs.

At Paracel we seek to hire as many people as possible who live in the Concepción area and in Paraguay. It is important to mention that during the construction phase and in the first years of operation of the plant, it will also be necessary to hire specialized foreign labor, since Paraguay lacks experience in this area. During the construction phase of the factory, Paracel will invest in the continuous training of the local workforce through alliances with technical and university educational institutions.
