He has more than 24 years of experience in the pulp industry, working in different management roles such as: sales, manufacturing, engineering, planning, maintenance, customer service, quality and continuous improvement. He also has deep knowledge in performance improvement systems, organizational restructuring, negotiation and team management.

Fabiano Stein

Forestry Director
Forestry engineer graduated from the Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil, with a Master's degree in Pulp and Paper Technology from the Federal University of Viçosa, and an MBA from the Don Cabral Foundation.

He has over 20 years of experience in planning, harvesting, forestry equipment maintenance, loading, and transportation in the pulp industry. For several years, he served as Forest Planning Manager and Wood Supply Manager in other pulp mills in the region.

Giselle Villalba

Environmental Sustainability Manager
She is an Environmental Engineer, graduated from the National University of Asunción (UNA), with specializations in Environmental Governance, Environmental Impact Assessment, and Environmental Services.

She is a registered Environmental Consultant at the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MADES) and an auditor in Environmental Management Systems, Quality Systems, and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.

She has 10 years of experience in Environmental Management in the agricultural and forestry sectors, with a special focus on sustainable forest management under international standards.

Hugo Fernandes

Director of Logistics
A civil engineer, he has specialized in logistics from the University of São Paulo (USP) and the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He also holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) and a specialization in Management and Leadership from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He has over 23 years of experience in logistics in the beverage, paper, pulp, forestry, and oil and gas markets.

He has worked on over 30 projects developing the entire logistics chain and greenfield pulp export projects for a company in Brazil.

Latifi Chelala

Director of Communication and Social Sustainability
She holds a degree in Production Technology, a Master's degree in Business Administration and Project Management with an emphasis on the SDGs, and a specialization in Production Systems Engineering. She is a graduate of the DENDE Business Leadership Development Program and a leading auditor of Management Systems.

She served for eight years as Quality and Social Responsibility Manager at Las Tacuaras SA. She is a university professor, a member of the Board of Directors of Sistema B Paraguay, and of the ADEC Corporate Social Responsibility Committee.

Mariano Durán

Director of Purchasing and Supply Chains
Licenciado en Comercio Internacional.  Cuenta con una sólida experiencia de más de 15 años en procesos vinculados a logística internacional de importación y exportación, gestión de almacenes, planificación de requerimientos de material, procesos de compras nacionales e internacionales y procedimientos relacionados al régimen de Maquila.

Se ha desempeñado como Gerente de Supply Chain, Gerente de Planificación & Logística y Gerente General dentro de varias industrias nacionales y en empresas del rubro retail.

Octavio de Giacomi

He holds a degree in Clinical and Occupational Psychology and a Master's degree in Business Administration. He has a solid track record managing Human Talent in renowned national and international companies.

He served for nine years as Human Resources and Quality Manager at Hidrovias do Brasil, with experience implementing changes aimed at continuous improvement. He also has experience in training and education projects.

His experience uniquely combines finance and operations in both the global pulp and paper industry and investment banking. He is an expert in production management, international sales and marketing, process control, information technology, strategy, and corporate finance.

For the past 15 years, he worked at Goldman Sachs, Barclays, and Macquarie Bank, all located in New York City. He was responsible for providing solutions in commodity risk management, project finance, and mergers and acquisitions. He was also the CFO of a pulp mill in Vancouver, Canada, where he participated in asset sales to Asian companies.

A mechanical engineer, he holds a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from the Project Management Institute, an MBA in Project Management from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (GV), and a specialization in accounting and financial administration.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry, he has worked on greenfield projects such as Veracel, Eldorado, and Montes del Plata; and the CMPC-Guaíba brownfield project. He served as project manager for forestry and mill socio-environmental licenses for a new pulp line.
Marcos Kosman
CFO
A certified public accountant from the University of the Republic (UDELAR) in Uruguay, he holds a master's degree in business administration (MBA).

For nine years, he served as CFO of the southern corridor and as director of logistics projects in Paraguay and Uruguay for the Hidrovías do Brasil group. He also served for several years as chief accounting officer and controller at ArcelorMittal in Montevideo.
