We tell you more about our Forest Development Program

Paracel has the Forest Development Program, which consists of the purchase of wood at the national level, with the social commitment to provide a business alternative for producers, institutions or interested companies and also to guarantee the existence of raw materials for the cellulose industry in Paraguay.

The program aims to generate income and diversify the activities of interested individuals or companies, making their economy more viable through the planting of eucalyptus trees. It also seeks to encourage the adoption of production systems under an environmental and social perspective.

This Program stimulates climate regulation. The surfaces of forest plantations will capture a significant amount of carbon present in the air, so Paracel will contribute to mitigating the increase in the concentration of CO2 (Carbon Dioxide), the main Greenhouse Gas (GHG) that causes global warming.

Individuals or companies interested in the sale of wood must comply with Paracel standards by going through the validation processes of the Forest Development program.
