Paracel, in partnership with the Paraguayan Red Cross, hosted the discussion forum “Health That Unites Us: Partnerships That Transform Communities”, an event that brought together representatives from public institutions, civil society organizations, businesses, healthcare professionals, students, and community leaders in Concepción to share experiences and reflect on the role of partnerships in promoting health and local development.

The initiative was carried out as part of Paracel’s Community Health and Safety Program and the “Health That Unites Us”project, promoted by the company in partnership with the Paraguayan Red Cross, with technical support from the First Health Region, the Concepción Regional Hospital, and PRONASIDA.

During the event, participants shared experiences, lessons learned, and best practices related to health promotion, volunteering, and collaborative work across different sectors. Topics addressed included HIV and other sexually transmitted infection prevention, combined prevention, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), timely testing, and counseling.

The meeting also highlighted how collaboration between public institutions, civil society organizations, and businesses can help expand access to information, strengthen prevention efforts, and generate positive impacts within communities.

Through initiatives like this, Paracel fosters spaces for exchange and coordination between institutions, organizations, and communities, contributing to the building of partnerships aimed at community well-being and the sustainable development of the regions.
