With the start of construction on its industrial development hub in Concepción, Paracel finalized a strategic agreement with Sudati Group, a Brazilian company that will join the park as its first industrial partner.
The investment, estimated at USD 215 million, will create over 2,000 direct and indirect jobs, with construction slated to begin in 2027 and the first phase operational in 2028. This agreement represents a key step in consolidating a productive ecosystem around the project.
As part of its strategy to ensure raw material supply, Sudati also announced a complementary investment in expanding the region's forest base, in collaboration with Paracel. Together, over 30,000 additional hectares are expected to be planted, strengthening the development of silviculture and the productive capacity of the country's north.
Founded in 1998, Sudati is Brazil's largest plywood manufacturer and exporter, with five industrial plants in the south of the country. The company's integration into Paracel's industrial hub will generate significant synergies, optimizing the use of wood and its by-products, and strengthening the efficiency and sustainability of the production model.
