Paracel reaffirms its commitment to sustainability by successfully completing the FSC® Certification maintenance audit
Between August 4 and 8, 2025, Paracel underwent the maintenance audit process of the FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) Certification, conducted by the independent international entity SCS Global Services. The evaluation covered all components of the company — forestry, environmental, social, health and safety operations — in accordance with the 10 principles of the FSC® standard.
The result was highly positive: the auditing team recommended the continuity of certification, a milestone that reinforces the strength of practices and the consistency of the company's management model.
The FSC® Certification is recognized worldwide as a reference in responsible forest management, ensuring that forest products come from processes that balance environmental sustainability, social responsibility and economic viability. For Paracel, maintaining this seal is more than a technical requirement: it is a declaration of commitment to future generations and the Paraguayan forestry sector.
This result was only possible thanks to the collective effort of: Paracel employees, partner companies, suppliers, public institutions, civil society organizations and neighboring communities, all of whom actively contributed to demonstrating that sustainability is a central part of our culture and strategy.
With the certification in force since 2024 (FSC® C203074), this maintenance audit confirms the path of continuous improvement, consolidating Paracel as a reference in sustainable practices and as a protagonist in the responsible development of Paraguay.
