Paracel presented the results of its social programs to community leaders in its area of influence

In a meeting with leaders from Paracel's areas of influence, the company shared the results of its work in social sustainability and the progress of its 14 ongoing social programs.

The event highlighted advances and achievements in food security, the implementation of family and community gardens, and the promotion of watermelon, horticultural, and poultry production projects, with supplies and technical assistance.

Regarding women's empowerment, community risk mapping workshops were held, and the arrival of Ciudad Mujer to Concepción was facilitated, benefiting women from vulnerable communities with integrated services. In education and health, 8,500 kilograms of milk were distributed to 3,500 beneficiaries, and medical assistance was provided to more than 1,000 people. Educational infrastructure in indigenous communities was also strengthened through the construction of school gardens and the improvement of sanitary facilities.

Indigenous communities also benefited from investments in drinking water, energy, and roads, reaching 13 communities. In 2024, more than 1,650 documents were processed for residents of these localities, ensuring their access to basic services. Additionally, in the area of environmental sustainability, 1,487 people were trained in waste management, and more than 1,400 surveys were conducted to monitor the social impacts of the programs.

The social programs executed by Paracel represent an investment of about G. 4,624,408,404 (approximately USD 600,573) as of November this year.

The leaders also received detailed information about the certification process for carbon credits and forest certification, highlighting the importance of these efforts to ensure responsible and sustainable practices.
