As part of its sixth anniversary, Paracel invited the entire community to be part of an unforgettable celebration: the “Reviving the Port” fair, in the Old Port of the city of Concepción, where more than 800 people participated.

The activity was an evening full of entertainment for all ages. With a wide range of cuisine, handicrafts, and live musical performances, the event sought to pay homage to the region's cultural roots and support local entrepreneurship.

One of the objectives was to revitalize an emblematic space of the city, promote the local economy and promote community encounter, connecting the inhabitants of the region with the culture, flavors and traditions of the north of Paraguay.

In “Reviving the Port”, more than 20 fairs exhibited and offered the best of their production. Among the highlights are representatives of the Program for the Promotion and Development of Local Suppliers, artisans from the Redención indigenous community, and several producers from the department of Concepción, participants in the Community Relations and Social Investment Program.

The event also included the performance of artists from the department of Concepción who played live; in addition to the Departmental Folk Cast Mitá Rory, who will fill the atmosphere with traditional music and dances.

With this type of initiative, Paracel reaffirms its commitment to the region's socio-economic growth, revitalizing the port, boosting the local economy and inviting the community to a relaxed and free cultural space.
