Leaders from 20 communities visited Paracel's Industrial and Forestry Components

31 leaders from 20 communities in Paracel's areas of influence visited the Industrial and Forestry components. The purpose of the visit was to open the doors for people to learn about the company's social and environmental processes and projects in a transparent way.

The visiting communities were: Hugua Ñandu, Paso Barreto, Laguna Cristo Rey, Colonia San Rafael, Redención, Jeguahaty, Takuarendyju, Mberyvo, Sati, Guyra Ñe'engatu Amba, Yvyty Rovi, Cerro Po'i, Apyka Jegua, Piquete Cué, Callejón San Luís, Roberto L. Petit, Primavera, Paso Horqueta, Paso Itá and Pyrenda.

During the visit, the attendees participated in presentations of activities in the industrial and forestry area, and talks on environmental processes. In addition, in the Forest Component, a talk was held on the prevention of forest fires.

Paracel seeks to promote the growth of communities in the region, making a close connection with their needs; creating and accompanying social and environmental programs; and promoting information spaces that seek to resolve doubts, complaints and suggestions in conjunction with them.
