We promote the relief route for women in cases of violence in 4 districts
Paracel, in partnership with the Ministry of Women, the Ministry of Children and Adolescents, the Government of Concepción and the corresponding municipalities, presented the Intervention and Protection Route for cases of violence against women, a tool designed to guarantee quick and effective care in the districts of Sargento Concepción, José Félix López, Paso Barreto and Paso Horqueta.
The initiative stems from a participatory process, which included workshops with women leaders, the mapping of 15 community organizations and 10 public institutions, and a space for dialogue to share experiences and recognize different forms of violence according to Law 5777.
The route establishes 8 clear steps, from case identification to follow-up, and has a Women's Support Network to accompany the implementation.
Among the main achievements are:
• Strengthening inter-institutional coordination in rural areas.
• Community training to recognize and act in situations of violence.
• Creation of indicators to monitor response times and user satisfaction.
This action reaffirms Paracel's commitment to protecting rights and building safe communities, helping to promote a life free of violence for women in the Department of Concepción.
