Forestal Azul S.A. joins the Forest Development Program with more than 2,300 hectares

The Paracel Forest Development Program continues to attract partner companies. On this occasion, the contract was signed with the Paraguayan company Forestal Azul S.A., whose properties are located in the department of San Pedro, in the Lima and San Pedro del Ycuamandyyú districts.

Forestal Azul S.A. will allocate 2,366 hectares to forest plantations, thus becoming the newest member of the Forest Development Program. On behalf of Paracel, the incumbent members of the board, Agustín Alonso Zapag and Per Olofsson, signed the contract, while, on behalf of Forestal Azul S.A., the president, Rafael Ortiz Domínguez, and the company's vice-president, Rodrigo José Aguilar León, did so.

Through the planting of eucalyptus trees, the Forest Development Program seeks to provide a business alternative to producers in the Paracel area of influence, as a strategy for the diversification of their income.
