5/11/2024

On October 31, the Prevention Expo “Concepción with girls, boys and adolescents free of violence” was held at the Concepción Social Club. This event marked the closing of several intensive workshops aimed at “Training of Trainers”, an initiative promoted within the framework of the Public-Private partnership between the Ministry of Children and Adolescents and Paracel.

The Expo Feria was attended by the Director of Communication and Social Sustainability, Latifi Chelala, the minister of MINNA, Walter Emilio Gutiérrez and Governor Liz Meza, who highlighted the relevance of this public-private partnership to combat child violence and promote child welfare.

The “Trainer of Trainers in Violence Prevention” conference is an activity led by Paracel and MINNA, where more than 150 people were trained so that they can replicate their knowledge in their communities.

The Trainer of Trainers training was structured in 4 modules of two days of duration each, and topics such as violence, protection systems, intervention routes and the application of the Guide for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse as a prevention tool were addressed.

The objective of these interventions is to train community leaders, as well as professionals, in the implementation of preventive methodologies, promoting awareness and training agents of change in society.

We thank all the people who made this important meeting possible. Together and together, we continue to build safer societies for our children and adolescents.
